38 Weeks and almost there!

It's hard to fight the "need to do" feelings.  The nursery is ready but still not ready enough for me.  Each time the floor gets cleaned, we get more things (not to sound ungrateful or anything) so I put them away, and start again :)  We finished our class at the hospital (RMH) last week and had a big final shopping day this past Saturday.  I am waiting for the last online purchases to arrive this week!  Package tracking is both the coolest and cruelest thing ever to grace the ordering world.  The dock/car seat is installed and jusssstttt fits in the Honda.  The bassinet is in our bedroom and I am sure Sweet Pea feels slightly crowded.   I guess I can say the bulk is done and now we wait...

Starting a Family

We have finally hit 29 weeks and I am getting antsy to organize the nursery.  Unfortunately I have been forbidden to purchase anything since I have 2 showers coming up in October.  I have lots of lovely empty drawers to fill...

The closet is still full of camping gear but who needs a closet in the first few months of life :)  I am ignoring strange looks, standard advice, and eye rolling as I announce my plans to use cloth diapers, chemical free passies, and the fact that I am keeping my car until the spring or summer.
